Maintenance Technician

Department: Facilities Hourly
Location: Occidental, CA

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled trades person to assist in the maintenance and upkeep of our facilities. The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for ensuring that our buildings, equipment, and grounds are well-maintained, safe, and compliant with regulations.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience in facilities management or related role

- Strong knowledge of building systems, equipment, and regulatory requirements

- Excellent leadership and communication skills

- Ability to manage a budget and prioritize tasks effectively

Responsibilities:

- Develop and implement maintenance procedures, standards, and schedules

- Coordinate with maintenance staff and external contractors

- Monitor and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations

- Manage budgets and expenses related to facilities maintenance

- Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance facility efficiency and functionality

- Collaborate with other departments to meet facility-related needs

- Provide timely reports to leadership on facility operations and maintenance issues
